Mobility training and Neuromuscolar training books to read
Mobility training and Neuromuscolar training books to read
I am a weight lifter (amateur) and I can lift a reasonable amount of weight for the main lifts. Nothing exceptional but good enough for an amateur.
At this point I believe for me to keep improving I should work on improving my mobility and perhaps work on neuromuscolar training (to improve my explosive force).
My theory (as an amateur) is that the former might improve my form (for example my squat could be better) and on the latter I think it might help me to lift more weight or more reps for the same reps (for example I recently hit 117kg bench press but I cannot pass 1RM at the moment).
So what I want to do is to lower the weight to build capacity but I want to work on the two aspects mentioned.
Can anybody suggest some readings I can go through (even books are fine for I example I have "Rebuilding Milo" which I am sure many are familiar with, so I am going for that kind of content). I don't want to go through youtube videos where most of the time they show you some exercises and that's it I would like to learn the fundamentals of mobility and neuromuscolar training.
Thank you
