What's this sound when the drill chuck stops spinning?
I bought a secondhand Metabo BS 18 LT BL Q drill. When I use it in high gear, the chuck makes a rattling sound when it spins down. I'm wondering if this is a sign that there's something broken inside.
I have a another Metabo drill with a very similar (but non-removable) chuck that does not make this sound.
Here's a video where the sound can be heard 4 times.
It doesn't happen in low gear. The chuck is definitely the source of the sound. When I remove it the sound's not there. The chuck seems to function normally
