Finding authoritative document requirements for entry into Qatar

Finding authoritative document requirements for entry into Qatar In October 2026 I will travel from Australia to the UK via Doha on a British passport, on a single ticket with Qatar Airways. The validity left on the passport at that time will be 4 months. The UK FCO page states that Qatar requires 6 months of validity left, whilst Qatar Airways, the US State department, and a few other places, state 3 months. At this point I am willing to believe Qatar Airways over the FCO, but really I would like authoritative information from the Qatari Interior Ministry, but have not been able to find this information. Could anyone tell me how to find this from the source, rather than relying on third parties? Separately, I believe I don't actually need any validity, because transfers at Doha happen airside. However, again I cannot find any authoritative information on this (such as from the airport, government or airline), only forum posts such as here on Stack Exchange. Qatar Airlines has a page where you are supposed to be able to see transit requirements, but it doesn't list anything if I put in my itinerary. How would I go about verifying this, and that there isn't some unexpected reason why I would need to go outside the sterile area and pass through immigration?
