Cut into top cord of open wood floor joist with metal connectors enter link description hereAccidentally cut into floor joist while removing subfloor. 1/4” on one side 11/16” in the middle and 3/8” on other side. 12” from wall and 6” from metal connector. What are options? I was thinking I could glue and screw a 2x4”x4’ to one side and add blocking in the middle and on both sides.
