Best China eSIM options

Best China eSIM options Going to Beijing in a few weeks, heard that eSIM is better and more stable than VPN, and plan to try it out this time. Any recommendation? I checked out Airalo, they are quite expensive. Holafly only provices unlimited plan but also not cheap. Any other good option? Does all the foreign app work like usual? whatsapp, gpt, instagram and etc.
