When should I disclose an upcoming vacation that overlaps with the start date of an internal job position?

When should I disclose an upcoming vacation that overlaps with the start date of an internal job position? I’m interviewing for an internal position. The job posting didn’t state a start date, but I recently found out about the start date after applying. This date overlaps with the last week of my international trip for vacation (that I booked a long time prior to my application). At my current job, I have a scheduled summer break. During the summer break period, I don’t have any work and I can go on any vacation, so there’s no need to ask for approval, and my work doesn't know about this vacation. The first week of the new job involves trainings and meetings, which I could participate remotely while abroad, but the manager needs to ask for permission from my work to allow remote work abroad. I would need to miss 1 or 2 in-person staff meetings. By the time it comes for the actual work (providing services to clients), I will be back home from vacation. In this case, should I: - Disclose this pre-booked vacation at the end of the final interview (regardless of whether I’m asked about this or not) and propose the remote arrangement, or - Wait until I receive an offer and disclose it while discussing the start date, before accepting? Even if I’m asked “When can you start?”, should I not disclose the vacation? I’m worried that an early disclosure can disqualify me, but at the same time, I am worried that withholding the information will backfire on me… I’m even considering cancelling this trip, but unfortunately, there’s a risk of cancelling/not getting a refund while it’s uncertain whether I’m selected for the role.
