I am suspended from work for allegations of sleeping on walking shift in care home. I didn’t have any disciplinary action before
I am a health care assistant working for more than 3 years for same company under a sponsored visa. Recently I was suspended from work because of allegations of sleeping on walking shift at night, but I was fully engaged with my duty of care.
It happened suddenly because of my allergy medicine and also I worked 12 hours shift without break. I raised these relevant issues to HR now my manager is crossed with me and is trying her best to fire me and I am waiting for disciplinary hearing with another manager.
My question: If I am dismissed unfairly I will take it to court, but then will my employer report it to DBS and what happens can I then switch in the same sector? Will my DBS effect anything to find another sponsor?
