Ask to manager for constructive criticism beyond written assessment
Ask to manager for constructive criticism beyond written assessment
I plan to have a meeting with my manager where we discuss my goals for the remainder of the year and where I show my interest in being involved in upcoming project.
I was also wanting to get more explicit feedback on how to improve professionally. They barely wrote any point for improvement in my half year performance review, and they are known to skimp on criticism until you find yourself fired from them.
Given that there is already a written assessment, would it look bad to ask for further feedback, in the shape of points where I could improve?
