Ask a technical report to hiring manager after interview to understand role better
Yesterday I interviewed for a company with the technical hiring manager.
I am fairly new to the field, and while I understood the role's big picture, even after asking them questions, I don't have a grasp of what exactly the technical work would look like (will I write code from scratch, will I mostly re-use code from others and run experiments?).
How do I get more details? I'd like to send an email to the hiring manager to ask for a technical report for a recent project by someone in the same position. Does it look bad?
